Rida Kiani

Bio

Rida completed her MS in Environmental Sciences from Quaid-e-Azam University Pakistan, in 2021. Her master's research focused on analysing hydrological changes in Pakistan in relation to the Paris Agreement targets. She contributed to research projects funded by the Asia-Pacific Network (APN) for Global Change Research. As the Principal Investigator, she focused on climate change communication, and she also worked as a researcher at the Ministry of Climate Change Pakistan, for three years on a regional project assessing climate extremes over South Asia. Currently, Rida is pursuing her PhD, where she is investigating the variability of the Asian-Australian monsoon under different global warming scenarios.
