Joel Treutlein
Bio
Joel Treutlein is a PhD candidate at the ANU Fenner School of Environment and Society who is interested in the ecological consequences of heatwave projections. He is researching how future heatwave trends will change depending on carbon emission targets and the potential ramifications for ecosystems. Joel previously acquired a Master of BioSciences from the University of Melbourne, where he focused on microclimate predictions of natural environments during extreme heat events. He also has a BSc in Computational Biology from the University of Melbourne.
