Andrew Brown
Bio
Andrew is a Research Fellow in the Centre of Excellence for 21st Century Weather, based at the School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Melbourne. His research focuses on understanding coastal wind processes and characterising the variability of wind resources in Australia. Andrew has previously undertaken research on convective storms, related to improving prediction and understanding future changes in hazards such as extreme winds, thunderstorm asthma, and tropical cyclones. He recently completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne on extreme thunderstorm winds in Australia.
