ARC Centre of Excellence for the Weather of the 21st Century: Official launch
We are excited to invite you to the official launch of the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Weather of the 21st Century (21st Century Weather) at Monash University.
The launch will take place in the Chancellery building at Monash University’s Clayton campus on Wednesday 16 October 2024.
This event will feature an official opening ceremony for the new Centre, followed by brief addresses from:
- a representative of the Australian Government;
- the Vice-Chancellor of Monash University Professor Sharon Pickering;
- acting CEO of the Australian Research Council Dr Richard Johnson;
- the Director of 21st Century Weather Professor Christian Jakob.
Date: Wednesday 16 October 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm (Doors open 9:45am)
