Skyler Graap

Bio

Skyler is a PhD student based at the University of Melbourne working with 21st Century Weather. His research focuses on the variability of rainfall along the Queensland coast, with an emphasis on microphysics and associated weather processes. The goal of his research is to better understand the drivers of precipitation variability and extremes in this region, and their impacts on local communities and agriculture. He holds a Master of Science in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University.
