Alanah Chapman

Bio

Alanah holds a Master of Atmospheric Science from the University of Melbourne's School of Geography, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, and began her PhD in late 2024. Her research focuses on simulating aerosol and clouds in climate models, and is interested how their misrepresentation drives uncertainty in future climate projections. She investigates aerosol, cloud, and radiation interactions over the Southern Ocean and Antarctica, drawing on recent in-situ observations to evaluate and contribute to climate model development.
